Daisy Dress - New summertime outfit for a baby girl

I lost my patience with the weather and simply took all the stuff to the garden. It is what it is. Will not be better. Although I came to conclussion - I do need a new camera :( The true colours are only reflected on one photo. Some came like special effects black and white. Which 'articticly' is very interesting but this is not the time for this type of art! This is an art of handknit and crochet with a touch of 3D embroidery! At the same time, I am very happy with the outcome. The dress looks as I imagined, as I wanted it o be - like platted with fresh, spring grass - but i is incredibly soft and gentle. The daisies occurred slightly different that I planned but I am still vary glad with them although they are flatter than the original idea. The hat took more fancy shape, too, and this happened only whem I was crotheting it. Finally, after many discussions with My Other Half, we decided to pace daisies in different places than in original design. Do have a look - I hope you like the little dress with the hat, too! And once again I have to bow to my husband - he is very supportive and helpful and he has the good taste that few could actually suspect! Now he is suffering from realy nasty sinusoitis radiating to his teeth. Antibiotic barely starts working and he did not sleep for 2 nights. Little that I can do; just jump arund him quietly and I try to keep my short temper on the short leash... Poorly as the stress acts against me. He tells me otherwise - but I do feel a bad wife as I am helpless. But the dinner was really good today! Yum-yum.

Christmas season revisited

My father declared on his blog that he was going to collect all necessary documents and apply to the Parliament to extend Christmas season from December to April. Not because of his particular love for the holiday as he prefers warm days and his forest walks and collecting mushrooms. Because several inches of snow. Lasting since November with a break for the very Christmas in the middle south of Poland.

Doctor! Doctor!

OK. I do have this baby girl dress finished with this tiny hat. I am waiting for a ray of light to take photos. What is the weather like? Let me skip it - my personal internal censorship goes one long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep here. I have also started the long-planned toddler boy cardigan. The list of ideas and plans only grows, never shrinks. I have started shaggy cat baby outfit, too. Cannot wait to start some accessories. The craving for creation becomes a strong addiction - for the sake of creation itself - and I barely need any excuse. But there is one problem. Time. Or precisely LACK of it. As there is not enough power in TARDIS to get me trough all my ideas bursting my poor silly brain. Yet, sometimes, the sad moment comes to find out that again - my innovative, extraordinary and unique idea is another bulb (invented virtually by at least 11 scientists!). Ah, well. I carry on regardless :) And enjoy that others enjoy occasionally a modest representation of all the pictures running through my head. But now, I really, really must finish this huge shawl for Maureen before her birthday! And perhaps, just perhaps, I may try to make my own pullover or two out of half of a dozen strated...? And yes, I am a keen fan of Dr Who among many others, too; but this is a quite different kettle of fish altogether.

The cat thing

Our cat is so spoilt rotten that he mews repeatedly when he wants something - e.g. to be taken to the garden or when he is bored. I advised my Lovely Husband to tell the cat that he would be ignored since that moment and ignore him. Well, I tried, my Lovely Husband answered, but then he simply goes a pitch higher!

New knitwear on etsy

You must have noticed two proud new items in my little koticzka's Cottage on the right side - a tiny pullover with shamrock accent intended not only for St. Patrick's day and wine red dress, half-calf or below the knee. Depends on your heigth. For me it is longish ;) I like this dress very much and made it originally for myself but for strange, unknown reason I did not wear it. At work I need to be ready for a sunny afternoons when my space turns into a little microwaves while in the morning it can quite chilly as for my liking. I prefer afternoons. Today, by the way, I managed to take some photos of Dublin's Quays or docks. In the morning in the full sun in the gentle mist, giving this area so unreal atmosphere. And when you look east you see shapes but not faces. You socialise anonimously and innocently, keeping the distance not quite lonely yet alone with your thoughts just for yourself. You have to got to the northern side, to financial district for this. I never suspected I could like a modern architecture.
